On Saturday, October 7, 2017, Hands On Atlanta will mobilize over 3,000 volunteers to serve metro Atlanta communities, schools, and nonprofits.
HOW IT WORKS
Volunteers will participate in projects throughout metro Atlanta focused on primary community needs including: education and youth development, literacy, child hunger, and parental engagement. Over 50 organizations and schools will receive fresh paint, new landscaping and gardens, essential hygiene kits, safe playgrounds, and more!
3,000 volunteers will serve over 10,000 hours to unite the Atlanta community around food insecurity, homelessness, youth development, education, senior citizen support, and community beautification.
From Bankhead to Buckhead and from West End to West Midtown, Hands On Atlanta Day is your chance to connect with and serve alongside your community. One day of service for one Atlanta.
This is your chance to make a difference by supporting programs that will give over 10,800 kids safe places to learn, plant over 100 trees, serve over 570 seniors, and provide over 15,500 pounds of food and medical supplies for those in need.
