Introducing the 2023 Class of Hands On Atlanta Civic Fellows
Hands On Atlanta is thrilled to introduce you to the 2023 class of the Civic Leadership Program, powered by Constellation!
Over the next 9 months, these 23 Civic Fellows will build and develop leadership and professional development skills through workshops, trainings and hands-on learning while supporting the needs of 24 partner nonprofits and schools across metro Atlanta. The diverse cohort features award-winning community leaders, doctors, students, retirees, corporate leaders and entrepreneurs from all ages, skillsets, and education levels.
CELEBRATE SERVICE WITH HANDS ON ATLANTA WEEK 2022
The 2022 edition of Hands On Atlanta Week, presented by The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, looks to engage 10,000 people in support of 50 nonprofits and schools with over 200 unique and meaningful volunteer projects and events from Sept. 20-27, 2022. The eight days of service will be celebrated alongside Arthur Blank’s 80th birthday, highlighting his commitment to a more equitable and engaged Atlanta.
BUILDING THE “BELOVED COMMUNITY” FOR 2022 MLK DAYS OF SERVICE
Hands On Atlanta will host their annual MLK Days of Service, presented by The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation, from January 12-17, 2022. Throughout this winter tradition, Hands On Atlanta will mobilize thousands of volunteers at 75 projects supporting more than 30 partner schools and nonprofits across metro Atlanta.

The Hands On Atlanta Civic Leadership Program, powered by Constellation, welcomes the largest class in program history to tackle Atlanta’s most pressing needs! The 21 members of the 2022 class of Hands On Atlanta Civic Fellows represent diverse backgrounds and industries including education, entrepreneurs, engineering, law enforcement, marketing, technology, and more!
HANDS ON ATLANTA WEEK TO BRING UNITY AND IMPACT TO METRO ATLANTA
Hands On Atlanta Week presented by The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation will engage 5,000 people to support 50 nonprofits and schools with more than 200 unique and meaningful volunteer projects and events from Oct. 2-9, 2021. Participants can expect traditional in-person volunteer projects, engaging virtual projects and more during metro Atlanta’s largest week of service.
Georgia Serves Announces $4.5 Million in AmeriCorps Funding for Georgia
In a recent press release, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (Georgia Serves) announced that Georgia received $4,531,101 in AmeriCorps funding from AmeriCorps, a federal agency. Hands On Atlanta was awarded $1,062,668 to deploy and manage 60 AmeriCorps Members with our partner schools.
