The program reinforces weekday learning through academic assistance, educational games, field trips, service-learning projects, and other enrichment activities. Oakhurst Garden weekday work party

Thursday, October 31 From 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM (Decatur)

The Wylde Center's mission is to cultivate vibrant greenspaces and inspire communities of environmental stewards. The Wylde Center actively engages youth, families, and individuals in their environment, health, and community through organized programs, classes, and events that develop creative skills in sustainable urban living, organic gardening, health and nutrition. Because gardening is so seasonally dependent, it is hard for us to predict exactly what we will be doing on each work day, but we can promise you some hard work and getting dirty! Generally, the work consists of weeding, mulching, small construction projects, and planting.
