Surya relocated from Temple, Texas and serves as a Social Emotional Learning Coach at Young Middle School. Surya has stepped in and established herself as a trustworthy and knowledgeable resource to students and the team at Young. Surya thrives under pressure and constantly goes the extra mile for her students each chance that she gets.

Hands On Atlanta is thrilled to introduce you to the 2023 class of the Civic Leadership Program, powered by Constellation!
Over the next 9 months, these 23 Civic Fellows will build and develop leadership and professional development skills through workshops, trainings and hands-on learning while supporting the needs of 24 partner nonprofits and schools across metro Atlanta. The diverse cohort features award-winning community leaders, doctors, students, retirees, corporate leaders and entrepreneurs from all ages, skillsets, and education levels.
